How to Pay Missouri Personal Property Tax Online?

Personal property taxes are levied annually against tangible personal property in Missouri. The taxes are based on the assessed value of the property and the tax rate.

The Collector of Revenue annually taxes tangible personal property based on its assessed value. The assessor classifies property into three categories: real property (land and buildings); tangible personal property; and agricultural/horticultural. Missouri Personal Property Taxes are due by December 31 each year. Payments must be postmarked by that date in order to avoid late penalties. Payments can be made online or in person at the Collector’s office.
